For these nails I was inspired by Zooey Deschanel's nails that she had for the Golden Globe Awards.see here. Although hers were on every nail, I did not have the patience to do a tiny little bow tie on every nail, I also thought it was somewhat overkill. From that I then painted the rest of my nails black and did a matte french tip (which doesn't photograph well).Once it was done I completely loved it, its very simple and quirky.
